Read More Button Display Issues

Hello,

For some reason the read more is not working properly, some articles display the full text with the read more button at the end of it and on its place displays a horizontal rule instead. see here http://www.cityviewfortlauderdale.com/health.html

Note: I'm using K2

Any assistance on how to solve the issue would be greatly appreciated.

Read more works a little bit different in K2 than in regular joomla articles. K2 uses read more to separate intro from full text. So if You will choose to show only intro and there will be no read more set whole text will be considered as intro and displayed in module.

The articles in the url I added in the previous post, all have read more tag, however in the front end some of them display the read more right where I put it which is right under the first paragraph. but some of them are displaying the read more button at the end of the article and just a horizontal rule (<hr>) instead the read more button.

I found the culprit of my issue
The JCE Editor was adding an extra space after the quote mark on read more tag <hr id="system-readmore" /> after I remove the extra space the issue was resolved.

Ok. Thank You for letting me know that. I did not know JCE is doing that. A new lesson evreyday Closing this thread now.
