where in template world news II should I paste the google adsense code? 2 weeks ago I tried to paste it into html module but without results.

Please disable tinyMCE editor in global configuration (change editor to "editor - none") - and then try to paste the code to a custom html module.

I do not have such an option. In the global configuration I see only:
codemirror
simple
tinymce

You should have "Editor - None" - but perhaps it is "simple" option somehow on your installation - check it out then.
