Hello,

I am trying to import the bikestore theme settings but it says Invalid file or file size too big.

I tried the file at http://www.gavick.com/documentation/wor ... iguration/ and tried making my own file while copying the text.

Kind regards,

Martin

Hi,

So you have a problem with modified json file, what about the original json file from BikeStore configuration:
http://www.gavick.com/documentation/wor ... iguration/
It's working properly? What modification exactly did you do?

Hi Piotr,

I am not modifying it, I am trying to import the one from http://www.gavick.com/documentation/wor ... iguration/

But it keeps saying "Invalid file or file size too big."

You're right, there is a problem with this file, we'll fix it as soon as possible, for now you can use attached json file.

Thanks for the information!

Hello,

I have a problem with importing the template settings in BikeStore too. I constantly get the same message: INVALID FILE OR FILE SIZE TOO BIG. But I work with a childtheme and I cannot even export and later import the settingsfile from the theme itself. I have not modified the exported settingsfile. Do I do something wrong or is it a bug in the export/import function? Is there a solution?

Regards, Sjef

Do you have the latest version of the BikeStore theme? It should works without any problem. Could you change theme to your parent and then check again?

Hi Piotr, yes I have the latest version (1.3.1) and did what you asked: activate parent theme and export/import from there. I still get the error message. I'm working on a local install, but that should not make a difference, I reckon.

I checked this issue also on localhost and have no problems: "All template options are restored successfully." Are you trying to import json file from this page?

Hi Piotr, I finally was able to test it on the local install. With this file it works alright, but of course this is no use to me in exporting and importing my own settings. So, with an export from my own install and import that file still get errors.

Ok, so export your settings and send me a PM with the JSON file, I'll check it.
