error any articles to show

I've tried to post my own articles in the header2 area, but keep getting "error any articles to show"

I've created a new section and category and placed a few articles in them. I then changed the module settings to point to the same section and category. (changing it from "demo & demo/demo". I made sure everything is set to public.

If I change the module settings back to read from the demo categories, it will display the demo content again.

Am I missing something?
