Wrong visualization on IE9 and previously browser

Hi, i have a problem with the visualization of the site on IE9 browser. On Chrome or Firefox the visualization is correct.

On IE9 the layout is busted.

The site was installed about 2 years ago by a quickstart installation and has not undergone updates from the first version, joomla 1.5.

Someone has the same problem or has solved?
