Display Problem Internet Explorer 9

Under IE9 the front page looks like this:

What could be the problem? Unfortunately 60% of our visitors using IE so it's a quite big problem.

I have exactly the same problem but on GKCorporate2. Module sizes are different in IE8. Firefox is ok. I see some exchanges by PM, but I dont see any solution posted.
Can someone post for the benefit of new subscribers? Thanks.
