Mobile menu

I'm using bluap template for my site. I plan to use normal menu, but I don't really like the way it looks in mobile view (it looks like system modal box). Is there a way I can use the other menu (side menu) from this template in mobile view?
Or is it possible for me to extract the menu from the later "Box template". Which way should I look at?
