Quickstart wp-content folder

We recently switched hosting providers to WP Engine and they recommend only uploading the wp-content to their servers as they use a customized WP installation. I've tried uploading the wp-content from the Quickstart and the web page looks like a standard blog still (even with the CloudHost theme activated), with no demo content.

Do we "absolutely" need to have all of the quickstart contents to make this work, or can we just use the wp-content folder? Do you have a demo content file we can upload if need be?

Hello,

Unfortunately it's not enough to copy wp-content directory. All database sql dumps and other installation data are placed in wp-admin directory.

If you can't use wp-admin directory, you may configure your theme manually, following this configuration page:
