Spam Messages Due To Contact Form On Main Page

Hi guys. Is there a way to incorporate a re-captcha within the contact form or possibly block certain IPs? I am getting lots of spam. Thank you in advance.

what kind of contact form?
Default or from GK plugin ? If I remember all those have this stupid captcha code.

so first you have to set reptcha in joomla system,
then you can enable in gk contact plugin, if your installed version have this option.
