Double Logo + background image on "header module" multilangu

I have better feedback with the missing image in the header module, and the double logo problem that many people have with this template. When I use the original template as provided there are no extra languages installed. The header module works as expected. This is the way it looks with our image and logo:
Once I implement multi language, that is 2 languages, 2 separate main menus (for each language) and assign the header module for a specific language, the frontpage header module shows 3 problems:
1. The menu stay visible while showing the header
2. The logo is visible twice, one on top of the menu, the other in the header module
3. The background image in the header module is not visible.
On my multi language site it looks like this:
I see a very clear difference in the HTML code, I think that is a clue why this happens but no idea how to solve it:
There are extra classes added:
- menu-visible (that obviously wrong, removed it from PHP but no succes)
- static
Any idea?
Appreciated

Could you please post an url to your site?
I Would guess this is an issue with homepage suffix - you have correct one on original site but no page suffix for homepage of another language.

I have no idea what you mean. The header module on the original Gavick site is just redirected from "Main menu - Home" to a menu called " Main menu EN - Home" (for english), I only reassign the module to the menu and that's it. I did not modify, change, clear or add suffixes.
I have to post the website on a server, let you know asap where you can find it.

Did read your signature about personal messages.
I have it online on our test server. Shall I send you a personal message with url, login information and ftp access information.
Just a few clicks ( I will describe in PM) and the problem is clearly visible and restored to your original site (where it works because it has not more than one menu for languages).
Appreciated

How to change back to a working situation, that is, not having a language:
- view website
- header module on main page shows double logo and menu bar in. Menu bar should not be visible when site is in top position (header module visible). Logo shows twice.
- login to website backend (joomla 3 site) with name / password
- go to “Menus”
- select “Main Menu Dutch”
- Unset Dutch (NL) Default (click on the flag in column “Home”)
- got to “Extensions” - “Module Manager”
- open module “Header NL” positioned in the “Header”
- click on “Menu Assignment”
- Deselect assignment “Home” in “Main Menu Dutch”
- Select assignment “Home” in “Main Menu” (original template position)
- Save this module
- View the site
Now it works as supposed, background image visible, menu hidden.
You might want to do the same Menu assigment change for a few other modules to make the menu appear when you scroll down in the site, but this is the minimal you should do to see the website works as intended NOT using a language menu, and with the artefact when changed back to a language menu.

The first problem I see is that you miss frontpage suffixes. Original frontpage should have those classes added to body element:
"frontpage top1-colorbg"
while your frontpage has none. Please read about page suffixes here:
https://www.gavick.com/documentation/un ... mla-pages/

That is the solution.
Thank you!
