ENEWS:Can I import articles from one J!2.5 to another J!2.5?

I was going to go with the Gavick News template, but was advised for my project to use the GameNews.

I've installed a quick start here:

Modules I can't find are the Log in from the quick start.
his quick start and import articles from my live site? Is it as simple as deleting the content tables in PHPMyAdmin and importing content tables from the live site?

Both sites are J!2.5.

I would need to import categories as well, of course.

Am I making too much work for myself?

Hi,
there are few possibilities,
but sure using PHPMyAdmin to copy all tables with articles(content) and categories should be good solution.

the only fault can be problems with articles author ID.

Right. I would need to delete user tables from quick start and import them as well.

I'm going to give it a try later on.
