Hi

Till now I've found 3 issue which are preventing fb login from work.

1. Facebook API and secret is not entered in template settings or facebook authentication plugin, somethimes this plugin is disabled also.

2. Recaptcha is set in joomla configuration to show, but it's not configured in recaptcha plugin, or plugin is disabled.

3. There is already a different fb login functionality installed (for example from JoomSocial or other 3rd party extension).

Please check all above and if it's not the case than try generate new API and secret, this also helped in some cases.

Hi

Ok. Than please try generate API and secret one more time and use it for configuration. I do not know why, but it helped couple of users with the same problem. So it's worth trying.

If this will failed too. Please send me an access to Your joomla panel.

Hi

So it looks like it's a conflict with one of browser's plugins. Please check if it works while additional plugins are disabled.

I see I'm not only one with this problem. Tried already with resetting secret key but not working so far.

But I noticed this happen after update K2 to recent 2.6.1 version. Not only FB login stopped working but also captcha in comments and in registration. So I had to switch off comments in blog which isn't big issue but I more concerned about registration.

I should add that everything works perfectly fine on old K2

Hi

This is a pretty big information which may point to a conflict with K2. Please try disable using jQuery by K2 in its settings and let me know if this makes a difference.

I'm not quite understand what I should disable in K2. I was playing arround with settings in K2 and Joomla Plugins

I Disabled:
K2 users
K2 Profiles
end Enabled: Joomla standard user profile
Reset api secret key to FB login couple of times.

But this not helped neither with Captcha nor FB login
You can see captcha info to type words from image but not displaying although captcha works in other component just fine.

Sorry yes 've disabled jQuery in K2 but this not working

I don't know but maybe this is due to bigger improvements in K2 as now they using Joomla core login module.
But still this wont explain why reCaptcha not working neither.
