Error updating Solidres - new website from quickstart

Hi there
I recentlly installed new website based on Hotel template.
Currentlly Joomla wants to update solidres package but there is an error
Solidres developer addresses this issue to quickstart creator:

error is:

Can't DROP 'map'; check that column/key exists SQL=ALTER TABLE `fxi0h_sr_reservation_assets` DROP `map`;

probably I don't need Solidres because there will be no reservations on my website but disabling everything with 'solidres' in name (packages administration) shuts the whole webstie down - only blank page

sorry but Solidres is not our product, please check on their project site. They have also forum.
Besides you can upgrade component manually, just download new version and install.

once again - solidres developer told that it is incorrectly build quickstart template (missing entries in mysql #__schema)
I did try to install component manually - it didn't work, the very same error
I can't just upload files because db schema should change

Probably I will find the solution - but I shouldn't have a problem with this in bright new template - right?

Please wait with Solidres update and use all features like they are now.

We have message from our developer team,
please download and install new QuickStart on Friday morning, it will be published new version until then. Right now be patient. But of course check out changelog before you will download anything.

Package Update: There was an error installing an extension: com_solidres.zip

Solidres support says that it is a template problem and not theirs. Please let us know.

I have also the same problem.
I just installed the quick start of "hotel"; I upgraded the Joomla core and extensions, but update of "solidres" as been unsuccessfully.
I tried to do automatic updating and also to download the .zip file and upload it from the extension manager, but the error is always this:
Can't DROP 'map'; check that column/key exists SQL=ALTER TABLE `hostelj34_sr_reservation_assets` DROP `map`;

the Solidres version installed is 0.9.0, version updating is 0.9.3

I solved this issue with Oscar suggestion

I opened phpmyadmin and logged in with joomla db credentials
I found a table #__schemas (where # is probably random prefix for your db)
I inserted new row in this table with values:
extension_id = 10312
version_id = 0.9.0

then I correctly updated this extension in Joomla panel

I needed to install the latest version of Solidres for a new function but I had many problems. After adding one row in PHPMyadmin I was able to finally install the updates but I had a big 500 error page on my booking page.

Here is what Solidres explained:
Your template is having an out of date template override for Solidres, you should disable them:
https://www.solidres.com/documentation/ ... 48-upgrade
Also, you may want to contact your template provider and let them know that Solidres has new version so that they can update their template.

I did rename this folder:
/templates/gk_hotel/html/com_solidres
I don't have the eror anymore, but the page is not working as before.

Could someone in Gavick team provide an update or a fix to let it work correctly?

I have the same issue and developer fix doesn't work for me
Version of Solidres installed with Quickstart is 1.0.0-Stable (not 0.9.0)
so is the fix has to be modified ?
I don't thing this is possible to upgrade Quickstart on my website where it is already installed, right ?

Tried the recommended fix by updating adding the new table in DB, but it does not work. I even tried to change the version not to 0.9.0, but to 1.0.0 as that is the version installed in the quickstart package. Wont work too. Can you please post some working fix for this?

the fix given in this thread consists in applying a new ID and version to database for Solidres
the fact is that on the quickstart gk-hotel currently available
ID and version for Solidres doesn't match what yours
I just installed Quickstart and ID for Solidress Full Package is 10345 with version 1.0.0
there's no extension_id = 10312 at all
so the fix can't work and I guess the solution is elsewhere
or I didn't understand something - but your fix doesn't work.

I may have found a solution for a fresh install method only

I went to Extensions in Joomla and select manage, then manage again and did a search for Solidres, select all Solidres components and select uninstall.

Go back to Extensions in joomla and select manage, then select install

reinstall solidres again and it should go past the JInstaller: :Install: Error SQL Can't DROP 'map';

To install the sample data from Solidres

from joomla, select components, select Solidres, select system

you should see a option which displays, select I understand & I want to install sample data
