help with replacing i elements

hello in order my website that uses the gk hotel template to be compliant with (Guidelines: WCAG 2.0 (Level AA)) i need to fix this criteria
Check 117: i (italic) element used.
Repair: Replace your i elements with em or strong.
Error Line 304, Column 22:
<i id="static-aside-menu-toggler"></i>

can you help me with this where can i fix this?
