ADD TO CART button stopped working

hello,

can anyone please help me...
I installed the inStyle quick start, it was wiorking ok, but when i added all the products, the ÄDD TO CART"pop up doesnt show up anymore. instead the page just refreshes to the next page. there is no "continue shopping" or "check out"button popping out like before....

can anyone help me?

There is error in VirturMart javascript code, are you sure you don't change anything in VirtueMart configuration? Please make sure that option use jQuery script is enabled in VirtueMart configuration.

Please enable fancybox because this extension is displaying pop-up windows.

it still didnt work. i have enabled fancybox but when i click on it it just redirects to the check out page. no popup.

Ok, last thing - please attach here screenshot with your VirtueMart scripts settings like load jQuery, fancybox etc.

i am sorry i am not really that adept to this, but which one do i take a screen shot off exactly?

Please try to enable to use external jQuery library. If this don't help please make some additional test on Beez/Prostar template becuase it really don't look like template problem but some script conflict, especially when it was working before.

i checked "Use external google jQuery library" on inStyle, still doesnt work...

I am having the same kinda problem. Only i can't click on the next button already tried a another template and that works fine.
Any ideas?
When i checked the code in element inspecter is saw this:

And when i checked it on another website with virtuemart is saw this:

Hi, I have the same problem. If I use the Shop and Buy template, popup Cart module works correctly. However, with InStyle not work.

Did you make any custom changes in template? I see that your cart button don't have properl CSS class/ID and that's why it is not working.

Hi, I haven't made any changes. I installed the quick start package on another subdomain and the same thing happens. View shopping cart does not work. You can see it in http://plantilla.ottro.com. Can it be a problem with the version of Virtuemart? What can I do?

One more thing. I installed the Shop and Buy template in prueba.ottro.com and this template works. Therefore, I think it must be a bug in the template.

You're right. Sorry. The problem is with the "Show Cart" button. When you click this button you a window asking you to re register, you can't directly see the products you have selected appears. Furthermore, Shopping Cart doesn't work.

I have the same problem, from a clean install there was no shopping cart. What I did was in the template->instyle->html->com_virtuemart i renamed the cart folder to see if the error was on the override and yes, now is loading the default view from virtuemart. There must be a bug somewere at the cart template override. But for the moment the default virtuemart view works just fine. Please fix...

Rename this folder for a temporary fix.

Hi Korealex, I tried your solution and it works. I renamed the folder and now the shopping cart appears.

Another possible solution is to change the default.php file in the cart by carpera Shop and Buy the template.

It seems to be a bug in the template InStyle.

Hi, with this solution I managed show shopping cart. But does not the pop up window my cart.
