Question for "Recommend to a friend"

Hello

I tried to send a Recommend to a friend for a product to my mail adress. This works very nice.

Here is my question:

Where can I change the words "product details" if I got the email?

I am looked at all .ini files for "product details" but could not find it.

Please check my print screens. The screens are from my email inbox.

I think you should ask about this issue on VM support. This phrase should be located in default VM translation file because we don't override this part. Did you check VM language file or only template file?

I checked the following ini files in the library:

/httpdocs/language/en-GB
/httpdocs/components/com_virtuemart/language/en-GB

I think you don't check files carefully…
This phrase is located in root/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_virtueart.ini in line 274, visible on this screenshot

If you need to translate other VirtueMart areas please contact with VM support.

Of course I checked already.. I ve already changed the INI File in the root/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_virtuemart.ini

Please check enclosed the print screen.

But in the mail is "product details"

Do you have translation for VirtueMart module or other template packages? In your langauge directory there is only en-GB sub folder?

I am not sure if I understand it correctly....

My site is in GERMAN. For site and administrator.

I always make changes on INI Files in folder en-GB and de-DE...

But what I see is:
/httpdocs/language/en-GB:
---->There are all language folders.

/httpdocs/components/com_virtuemart/language/
---->Here is only en-GB

Please check enclosed the printscreen.

Maybe I should make copy paste German language folder de-DE into /httpdocs/components/com_virtuemart/language/ ?

If the frontpage language is de-DE you need to make changes in de-DE directory. This translation part don't come from the template for sure and it is VirtueMart issue - if you have a problem with translations in this extension you need to contact with VM support because we don't modify anything in this area. Maybe your file have wrong encoding and that's why it is not parsed properly.
