joomla 3.2 error on install

JLIB_INSTALLER_ABORT_REFRESH_MANIFEST_CACHE
Could not refresh manifest cache for extension: definitions
and return to db information page

I want to help you.
Where/When you get this error - during quickstart installation, template installation or after uninstalling component???

Solution from Joomla forum :
Go to Extensions/Discover, click on Discover
In some case there were entries because of an incomplete uninstalled component. (There were still some directories left.) I deleted the directories
click "Purge Cache"
click "Discover"

I have the same issue. on quickstart installation. Anyone with the fix?

I also confirm, the gk_instyle_quickstart_J!3.zip causes this issue!

No idea if you read the thread right it is about installation with the quick star for joomla 3.2 if you cannot install it how the heck are you suppose to go to admin side?

this as nothing to do with joomla.org it as to do with the files

Are you trying to install quickstart using Joomla Extension Manager ? I hope not!

3) What kind of localhost you are using ? XAMPP , JAMP or other ?

We always suggest to use those which have good settings for Joomla.

think nail down why some as error the db size maybe higher than there host allow Total size 50.52 Mb

On most server it is set at 20 meg I think

Maybe .... I didn't know that you database is so heavy right now.
Joomla 3.2 also need PHP 5.4+ to work fine.

Good day! I try to install quickstart 2.5 and 3.2. But it is impossible. after filling in all the fields I see just that.

When i install a different version I see it.

And again throws me to the last page complete the installation.

All your templates installed without problems. Why not now?

Probably your servers settings are not good enough.

p.s. Have you tried to install "naked" Joomla downloaded from Joomla.org or joomla.ru ?
If not please try.
Then ask your hosting provider for help -- I suppose that have more experience with others clients cases.
We can not change server settings -- we "only" create a templates.

That problem applies only to installation of Joomla or Quickstart with demo content.
But If your "original" Joomla will be installed - you can always install template by Extension Manager, this same do with modules.

And try again !

Install naked Joomla 3.2 downloaded from Joomla.org - is installation works ?
If Not, you have bad server settings, sorry we can not help
If Yes, good sign. Building our Quickstart we didn't touch installer files except database which is installed on 3th step. So know you can try to install QS again.
