Best Sellers - Variable Products Not Showing Correctly

Hello I have experienced what seems to be a bug in the theme when using variable products among the best sellers when using the news show pro widget. The price is not correctly displayed and has forced me to use only simple product skus. Price shows up as " _$24.99$21.99 " instead of " $21.99–$24.99", which is weird because when I copy it, it shows up correctly when pasted however it displays incorrect. I have attached a screenshot of exactly what I am talking about.
