Problems in the John S template

Hi, I'm Valeria. I have some problems to solve, please:
1) width of the homepage. It is locked on 1000px x 220px So is not like the demo (1400px x 792px).
2) homepage: Are the boxes in the demo modules? How can I costumize them (layout, texts, images, video, slogan... and so on?
3) In demo, website starts with page "Hello! I'm John....." (without a topmenu), then, when I scroll down topmenu appears. How can I do this?

1. This value is configurable in template's settings
2. I'm not sure what You have in mind. Can You please show me exactly ?
3. You will need to add page class suffix "frontpage" for that. Here an example how to do this: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... omla-pages
