How to setup FB site login with Jomsocial

Hello,

I'm trying to setup FB site login both with Jomsocial (already installed and working) and with Joomla/Gavick.

I set up FB login via Jomsocial so when someone goes on on community and registers with FBook it works.

I would like to have also the same FB login/register button on the top right login menu so that's what I did:

1) In Gavick template settings, I enabled SOCIAL API "connect with facebook" and I put the same Jomsocial Facebook API ID.

2) Then I configured "Authentication - Facebook" plugin by putting inside the same Jomsocial app ID and secret.

So now I get the FB button but when I click on it, I get the username "Facebook" and a password **** but no access.

my Joomla version is 3.3.6.

Live site is: www.leviedelcommercio.com; just try yourself to login via facebook both using JomSocial and the top right login menu (in the second way you will see appearing "Facebook" username...)

I've updated your login with facebook plugin to the newest version and now it is working fine for me - I was able to create an account on your website.

thank you, but I still can't login with Facebook... at least not via the top right menu "login/signup" (I can register only via JomSocial)

That's what I could understand:

1) if you are already logged with FB you get what you can see in the screenshot (the username "Facebook" appears from nowhere...)

2) if you are not logged in FB you are prompted with Facebook, but then you get the same problem in the screenshot

Maybe the very first time you login with Fbook you can create the user, but the second time you try to login I think there are problems....

I don't understand why the same FB app ID/secret works for JomSocial login, but not for Joomla

Please send me a PM message with your FTP and back-end access data - I will analyze it deeper.

I've solved your problem earlier, but I had used wrong token - I've used the ones from the JomSocial and now all is working fine for me.

Additionally I've added small fix which makes you able to use the login with facebook button on this page: /component/users/?view=login - earlier it was impossible to use this button on that page.
