Custom post types

Hi,

Where do I edit the names of those custom post formats (i.e. "image" or "status")? Or how do I specify and dd another post format?

Let's say I need to create a post format named "guest author". I was trying to modify one of the existing, but I cannot find where to modify the category title that is visible as soon as you disable displaying this custom post's icon (see image).

Hi,

You can't change or add own custom post formats to WP:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Formats

You can only change the icon - e.g. Magazine/images/post_formats/format-image.png, but In the dashboard it will be still visible as Image Post..

But you can add your own Custom Post Type (use some 3rd party plugin)
