Trying to get nrelate to work with featured images

Hello,

I have installed nrelate on the Magazine theme, to show related posts, but the plugin fails to get the correct featured images from the posts, and instead usually gets the second image from within the post.

Contacting nrelate support, they told me this:

Can you please contact your theme creator and ask them what is the custom field name that the featured image is saved to, and is the full path saved or the relative path?

Can you help me?

Hello,

There's no custom field used, only the default WordPress function the_post_thumbnail:

The code responsible for featured images may be found in Magazine/layouts/content.post.featured.php file.
