Problem with a template

Hi we are new here with gavick
We bought a 12 month license
The thing is that we downloaded a template
We installed the quick start files
but we cant change the information in the front end
Something happens that we saved the changes but never appear in the front end the changes.
Are we doing something wrong?
Do we need to activate some permissions?
