Component override?

Hy guys, I have a little problem with a third part component... I hope you could help me.
On my site: www.coldplayzone.it I installed a component named Music Collection. I need to override a php file from this component.
I tried to copy this file (with the right path) to templates/gk_musicstate/html folder but the override doesn't work.

I'm doing something wrong? why is it possibile to override for exemple K2 component and not Music Collection?

Could you please provide original path to file inside the component and a path you have created inside the template?

Sure...

this is the original path to file inside the component:
components/com_muscol/views/album/tmpl/default.php

and this is the path I have created inside the template
templates/gk_musicstate/html/com_muscol/views/album/tmpl/default.php

what's wrong?

It all looks completely fine. Please contact component support for help - perhaps they don't allow this kind of overrides somehow.
