K2 Fatal Error

Dear Sir / Madam

I have problem in front-end page after upgrade joomla to 3.6 before then i used k2 normally but now i have Big problem because my website is offline and I have a fatal error message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_internal_encoding() in /home/missoesu/public_html/components/com_k2/helpers/route.php on line 86
Could you help me?

Hi

This error means that You do not have this function coming with Your PHP. Please inform Your hosting provider about it and ask to extend/upgrade Your PHP version.
