Load Image Show first

The Slide show at the top of the page is loaded last, after everything else is loaded. Unfortunately that's the element the viewer has in focus and he is waiting a long time before he has something to see. Can I modify the behaviour so that the slide show is loaded first?

Unfortunately it's not possible without image show widget modifications. There are images, scripts etc which should be loaded first and then (when the slides are ready) the slideshow may be visible.

that's a real pity...
