Is it a homepage, category or other page issue?
Could you please post an url to your site to a place where you expect read more to show?

I have the same problem. The read more button aren't showing in de K2 category view and News Pro Show module.
I have tried to fix the problem by adding a code in de category_item.php but that didn't help. Any other ideas?

I fixed it myself. I had to update the template and had already added the code in the category_item.php so probably the combination of those two actions helped...

Hmm, from what I see there is no such Read More button in the code of category listing. Our demo uses NSP module to display items and there, the Read More button shows correctly.
Adding it is one thing, styling is other.

Witam,

Dear Support!

I got the same problem. The Read more button is hidden in news2.
I turned it on in the backend.
If I write
Code: Select all
?template=protostar
after the URL the Read more button appears.

I checked the DEMO site as well (quickstart) and got the same problem.

Could you have a look on that?

Thank you in advance.

Any help is appreciated:
"Read More" is not showing up on this opening page of our website http://www.myseatech.org. The module is used under "Welcome to SEA-TECH Skills Center".
We use Gavick Template "StoreBox"
The mode we use is: Centered Title Overlay.

It seems they don't really care about it. Or they just too busy right now but an answer would have been appreciated...
Luckily I needed a plugin called "Content - Read Less - Text" ad it solved this template problem.
I think it generates the right button output.
It's a pretty configurable plugin maybe you can use it for this problem without using other features of it.

Good luck!

Thank you. I am disappointed with their support. We paid for these templates. Some free template get better support. So "Content - Read Less - Text" is a plug in name? Where did you get it?
