Redirect all 404 error pages to homepage

Hi how can i get all 404 error pages to just go to the homepage please.

Also is this ok for seo and google ?

1) yes you can, but you have to customize error.php file in GK template folder
2) About effect on the SEO - sorry but we are not SEO expert to give such a expertise.
But for typical users (UX) much better is to see normal website with 404 info inside article, no additional page only with error 404 message.

In my projects I use: eScope Product Handler or Dynamic404 - and I'm happy with it.
