Register returning 404

Hi,

I am currently testing my site and am getting a 404 error. The backend is set to allow people to register so i am not sure why this is being returned. Could someone please take a look and advise ..

I currently have the "Login/Register" and "My Account" menu items set to be visible if a user is logged in or not. Not how this being set as such would affect the user registration functionality or not, but I figured I would relay this info just in case ...

I've checked my theme installation and can't see the problem with the regsitration URL, please try to resave your permalinks and try again.

I just tried and cleared caches but it is still happening. I am not sure why as the URL shows /wp-login.php?action=register. *scratches head*

I've installed a clean copy on my machine but still can't realize any differences. Could someone take a look?

Nvm. I had a plugin to hide the wp-admin and it looks like it hides the wp-login as well
