it is not possible to use the feature "show template menu" when your site is multilingual, because you can only choose 1 Menu.

In my site there are 2 or more menues (mainmenu-german, mainmenu-english......)

are there any solutions?

Hi
I'm using the RockWall template on Joomla! 3.2.3 at http://www.businessintenerife.eu

I've configured and activated the multi-language plug-in "System - Language Filter" the default home changes but the main menu it's not work correctly.
I also used the suffix pages (ID menu - 101=grid page) to fix the problem...but I've the same error 404 when i click on every single page

Can you help me? :o

The multi-language plug-in is activated right now

I would really like som admins from Gavick to look at this issue! I have multiple sites where i use more than 1 language. Making 2 copies of the template style does not seem like a good solution!

The website should work as here:

(Please, notice the effect scrolling down)

And enabling the language filter plugin I got this bad result:

It would be nice to have an option to add different menus for different languages. As I see, it's a pretty common problem for more than a year now. It took me a while to find the solution. The FaLang extension has ads and I don't even like how it works.

Gavick team,
Can you please add the language option to template form. It's quite a common problem as you can see and solution doesn't seem to be extra difficult.

Thanks!

Facing the same issue and haven't done it yet...but the already mentioned idea of making copies of the template is kind of the right idea. I would suggest making an additional style of the template instead of a copy and assigning it to via menu items to the other language. In that style you then simply choose the desired menu for the main navigation.
