In this theme, the white text results if the images are darker. In other images it somehow difficult to read the text.
It's possible to configure a background box for the text with some alpha transparency?

Hi,
Are we talking about GK Title Overlay widget yes?
Try to add e.g. this code to css/override.css file (First enable this option in Dashboard -> Template Options -> Advanced Tab)

Hi there.
I'm talking about the first banner that as 3 slides: slide1, slide 2 and slide 3. I want to have a box with a background color with transparency, so the white text is more readable in some photos/slides.
The widget is gk image show. Can i use that code you wrote on that? And how?

So, use the same method (with override.css file) but with the following code:
- Code: Select all
.gk-is-wrapper-gk-rockwall figcaption h2 {
background: #333;
opacity: 0.6;
filter:alpha(opacity=60);
padding: 10px;
}

Hi there.
I tried your solution but the text is also with opacity. I want the background to have that opacity but the text remains original white, without opacity.
Could you tell me if there is a way of doing this? I read somewhere that we could use a transparent png?

Yes, you can also use a transparent png file, in this case use this code in override.css file:
E.g. Here is a transparent png generator. Use above code and put your image to Rockwall/images directory..
- Code: Select all
.gk-is-wrapper-gk-rockwall figcaption h2 {
background: url(../images/your_transparent_file.png);
padding: 10px;
}
