Move the Logo to the top Left Corner

Hello,
How can I move the logo up onto the gkMenuWrapper div so that it sits on that fixed div alongside the top navigation menu? I've attached a screenshot.

So I figured out how to do it using the default.php file by moving around the include statements but I'm pretty sure there is a cleaner way to accomplish it using css. Any insights would be appreciated.
