Use WP excerpt in NSP

Is it possible to get NSP to use the WordPress excerpt rather than the post content for the text?

Unfortunately it's not possible for now. This feature will be added in the future:

Any idea when? That suggestion was originally made nearly two years ago.

Sorry, but I don't have an information when the version 1.1 may be ready to release. It's still a lot of work with this version.

It turns out this is a must have feature for the site I am working on. Would it be possible to have this done as a custom mod and pay for it?
