configuring social icons with gk_simplicity

Gavern v.3.8, gk_simplicity 3.8

Can you point me to any documentation related to configuring the social API section in gk_simplicity? For example, do I need to install GK_Social component installed to make it work?

I want ONLY the Face book "like" icon. I don't want to offer to sign folks up for Facebook, nor do I want to use Facebook login on my site. At this time, I also don't want to use twitter, nor pinterest.

But when I turn twitter and pinerest in the template Social API off, the icons still show in the gavern:social section.

Hi

You do not need GK_social module. All of this can be configured in template settings. Please take a look at screen with settings I think should work for You.

Thanks for the screen shot - it was helpful to ensure that I had it configured correctly. I ended up restoring from a back up and it was again working. I must have trashed some of the files along the way. Consider this issue closed!
