How to make another landing page like a main?

I have main page (index) which styled as landing page and other page styled as blog (whole white background, content at left & sidebar at right). How do I make custom page designed as main page (landing) with url, for example, http://mysite.com/nickname/about-me? As I think, I may somehow work with template layouts, but how?

You need to set same page suffixes for the other page as suffixes for homepage

You need to copy those set for your current homepage to another one.
