Problems after update to 3.1

Hello,
I've a big problem after updating from 2.5 to 3.1. I've used the Startup-template.

After the update I get this message: Fatal error: Class 'JParameter' not found in /home/artbyuob/public_html/plugins/system/plg_gkextmenu/plg_gkextmenu.php on line 42

What can I do?

I can't understand how this link shall help me. I'm sorry, I'm not that good with programming. Tried one of the tip about editing the template framework to:

But it didn't help me.

BTW; I updated from 2.5, within Control panel.

where you see this error, front-end or back-end ?
because on your brilliant website there is still J2.5, not 3.3.4.
(!) you should re-install also this plugin after upgrade, not only template and modules.

this template probably does not adapt when updating joomla 3.3.4

1) Did you also re-install template after migrate? Must be for J3.x , you can not use this same from J2.5.
2) Link was "wrong" is shows me only link to back-end, so it doesn't helped me at all.
3) On brillianc.ru you have Quickstart from Joomla 2.5, why don't you use QS with Joomla 3.3.4,
or you wanted to test only, yes.

I will check on my copy if I'll get similar problems.

Please do all those steps - step by step !
1) Disabe then Uninstall old plg_gkextmenu plugin (!)
2) Upgrade to J3.3.4
3) Re-install template to new version, for J3.x
4) Re-install all gk modules, I mean : mod_image_show_gk4, and mod_news_pro_gk5 - with versions for Joomla 3.x
5) Install plg_gkextmenu and enable plugin which you can take from gk_rockwall_rest_files_J!3 or other package

and all should work, tested on localhost few minutes ago

There was a problem, k2 does not work, can not create or edit titems and categories.

titems and categories of joomla also do not work

1) K2 component must be re-install also. It might help.
2) On my demo upgrade page all articles from menu worked.
I suggest to enable showing error to maximum, to check if any error appear.
maybe you have other plugin which break whole.
Disable them one by one (3th-party), and check.

You mean back-end?
Try this: Disable all GK plugins , except this "gkextmenu" and check again.
Remember that none of Gavick extension or template can not change default behavior of Joomla administrator section.

I did as you said, disabled plugin, everything worked and works after re-enable it!!!!
I think you need to write precise instructions for the transition to the new version, what and when to disable / uninstall and how to do so that would be material and css settings are not affected

Every one uses different plugins, modules and components so it's hard to say what makes crashes - blank seen it might be almost everything. That's why enable-disable method is in most cases the only one.
No one said that upgrade from 2.5 will be easy, some companies offers such a services for more than 200 euro/per site.

after unzipping your plg_gkextmenu.zip the extracted folder is gkextmenu... is this an error? where should I place this folder? still can not solve the situation.

but the backend is not working properly and it doesn´t allow me to install anything... I can only access through ftp

But we didn't broken your Joomla inside. None of GK extension was able to block your Joomla admin core features.Sorry.
