How to enable HTTPS on steakhouse

Hi there.
I have an already developed website using the steakhouse theme and i am also going to develop a new one.

Whats the best way to make wordpress theme use all links as https?
I need a solution for both newly installed and preinstalled wordpress system.
I have forced all redirects from http to point to https via apache, but when i open the site in https i get "The site includes HTTP resources.".

Is there a simple way to fix that, as i can see in the frontpage the news post images are not showing in https and i dont know how to change that.

Please check your page/post/widgets content - maybe you have some http URLs, you should change them manually. The following article should be helpful:
