K2shop and Virtuemart together

I have just purchased the first of what I suspect will be many Gavick products, this Storebox template. Hard to classify my skills, more than tinkerer but less than rocket scientist.

The quick question for tonight is: Both K2shop and Virtuemart are on the template. I assume this is to make the choice mine. As far as I can see the dummy content is all VM. Can I safely remove K2shop?

Also I note that although K2 is installed it is not used for content.

A final point that I expect is on here already, Shopbox breaks on Edge but is ok on all other browsers. Is there a work around?

All those extensions are included since are supported and was needed for testing. Yes You can remove what You will not use.

What problems You mean ? Can You please give some more details, so I'll know where to look at.
