Hello,
Do you have any errors in your logs? Please check error_log file on your server after activating CSS compression and first try of loading the page.

Hi
If You can see white page while watching it than it means that a Fatal Error occurred. Please in such case rise the error showing level to maximum so the error will be shown and an information about the problem can be seen.

I have the same problem. Activating the CSS-Compression the page will NOT be load (only white screen) and there is no error displayed (even when error reporting is set to maximum). Has anyone a solution?

Hi
Is error level set to maximum in php.ini and in joomla global configuration ? It's not possible to show just a white screen if errors are enabled. I bet the problem is that a css file which is listed in head section is simply not accessible on server and compression script fails while trying to compress not existing file.
Try disable compression and run a validation test. It should reveal a missing or broken css files.
