I am configuring my Writer template and am in the beginning stages. I've created a few K2 articles and at the top of each is an email link (along next to print). When clicked it produces a 403 error that says: 403 OOPS, YOU'VE ENCOUNTERED AN ERROR It appears the page you were looking for doesn't exist."

I cannot seem to find where to configure the information for that page. Can you point me in the right direction?

Could you please provide me with a URL to your website, either here or via PM (click the “Private Message” text underneath my avatar) so that I may analyze it? It is a lot easier for us to diagnose issues when we have a live site to examine.

Every post has this issue. Just in case it factors into your process, there is a Contact Me page set up in the Main Menu and it works.

Hi

Ok I can see it now. I'm not sure what can be the problem. From one side an url to the mail page is strange:

Code: Select all
http://martinomingione.com/component/com_mailto/link,44d56dd7f1676722487aa771adf77120a1b7f2ae/template,gk_writer/tmpl,component/

but en error 403 means that content is locked, but still in place. Please send me an access to joomla panel and ftp. I'll figure it out.

Hi

I have disabled sh404sef and mail is working ok. Something in this component must be causing this issue. You should show this to sh404sef developers.
