Template disappeared - white screen!

Hi there,

Installed Gavick Party freq template - installed jom social, then created some K2 items - after doing so, got just a white screen (just the menu items etc., no background). I have turned on error reporting to reveal the following:

Notice: Undefined index: QUERY_STRING in /xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx/public_html/domainname/libraries/joomla/environment/uri.php on line 161

How can i rectify this? I have already uninstalled the Party Freq template via 'install/uninstall' section on the backend and re-installed which results in the same issue.

The iPhone version shows the template so something to do with the desktop view.

I have tried uninstalling the template - but still the same -?

@b2control please give us more details, about PHP version, mySQL version on your server. Secondly to find the source of problem please enable Joomla Debug System and display_errors option in PHP settings, server error log can be also useful.

Could you paste here this error log message ? Maybe the message will be more clearly for us. Without additional informations 'blank screen' problem is really hard to solve. You can try to disable modules one by one and checking the home page - maybe some module is causing this problem.

All modules are already disabled. It only works when I fully reinstall the template through FTP.

In attached log I don't see any errors only adding/deleting user sessions to _sessions table. Please get access to your server error log - place where php errors are log, maybe there the error is saved.

I think the server error logs tells you everything about problems, you get errors from 3rd party extensions like com_mtree and com_biblioteca also some files are missing. In error log there is nothing related with template and any other Gavick extension.

When I build a complete new site on a sub folder will it work properly (of course without any 3e party comp)?
