Is it safe to update k2 (from 2.4.x to latest 2.5.4)?

Hi,

I'm still using the vJ1.5 version of sporter template (1.0.10) and wondering if I can/should update k2 from the version coming with the template (2.4.1) to the latest k2 version (2.5.4)

Any thing I should take care when updating?

I've tested K2 v2.5.4 on Sporter J!1.5 and don't see anything wrong, so you can update with no problem.
Nevertheless, you should backup first your website
