Top Login - Register popup -

How do I change the text on the popup button that reads "LOGIN" to say "Mailing List" or anything else?

there is language support for that field:

How to disable this Login completely on sites it is not needed? I cannot find it among modules nor in template parameters. This should be made configurable, no?

EDIT: Indeed it is, but as the documentation for most of these features is insufficient at best, it took a considerable amount of time to trace this. Evidently there IS a module named "GK Register" published in "register" position. Disable that, and it will be gone.

Hope this saves someone else some time.

Depends on the templates, in general disabling login module hides login buttons, disabling register module hides register button.
