Jomsocial Toolbar Empty

When I installed jomsocial after the quickstart I didn't get a menu item to the JS homepage, so I created one to the community homepage. But - JS toolbar is empty. Do I have to build the entire Jomsocial tool bar in the menu manager? In the past that menu was already populated on install.

yes you have to create menu items in Jomoscial Toolbar.

Thank you for the reply. I don't mind creating the JS toolbar, but it is not working.

1. Why does the Jomsocial install not load the toolbar? When did this stop working?

2. When I begin to create the Jomsocial tool bar I go to Menu Manager > jomsocial toolbar > new menu item > I press select next to 'Menu item type' and choose "All Friends" to create the parent menu for the other friends menu items. It puts "Pending Approval" as my choice...this is not correct. Please see attached image to see what I mean.

Please advise.
