Add two module positions beside logo

My site is under Joomla 2.5 and Appsite 2.8.

I'm trying to add two new module positions beside logo, but no way.

I' had followed this tutorial: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... -position/

...but the new module appears under the logo.

I would like to have these modules like attached file.
