the front page take only modules not articles??

Hello,
i tried to set up as front page an article selected as "featured" in the content and in the mainmenu selected with the star of homepage, but nothing happens.

I discovered that only the modules go in the home page..could you help me?

Hi,
please go to template settings. Here in 'Basic Settings' section find 'Main Body - FrontPage' option and set Mainbody after Component. It should show featured article on home page.
