with all our templates, the default login module from joomla is used... please publish the mod_login in login position and you will see it as in demo

Login position is not implemented in this template. As you have pointed out so either you have to create a link in main menu or hack into files to create a login | register perhaps on top of the logo far right end of the template by adding extra block just for login.

I'll implement it myself if someone points me in the right direction. My goal of course is to have a login much like you see on other Gavick templates, with a modal pop-up screen.
I guess this isn't the first template they've done this on, but it sure is an odd thing to purposely leave off.
