why is site not showing

i have tried this on both joomla1.5 and 1.7 as well as just viewing your demo page http://demo.gavick.com/joomla16/may2011 in my laptop. Now, my client has an old computer screen and maybe a lot of their clients will as well.

what setting in the templateparameter will let the site show ithout people having to scroll to the right to see the whole of the website?

Now I understand what are you saying.

I've installed the template in local server and the template is shown as you say.

It must be a particular configuration of the demo server of gavick team because css files are the same.
