cant get the site to display without

I used the 1.7 quickstart at all was wall until i cecked it on a laptop and 1/4 of the page was not visible on the right side without scrolling to the right!

is therea any way to reduce the margins? I have tried in the template paramenters but it just keeps chopping the menu up!

PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP!
