Bullets in list not showing

I´m stuck at this stupid thing, that the bullets in a bullet list doesn`t show.
If i use numbered list the numbers show. But for bullet list, nothing. It only pushes the text more to the left

I´ve found several posts on bullet list problems, and i´ve tried everything. Renaming template name in gk_typography to var $template_name = 'gk_finance_business';

adding .article-content ul li {list-style-type:square;margin-left: 30px} to joomla.css

Still nothing..

I have same issue with not showing up in mod's & components also.

I wanted to add that I have issues with JoomBah, XMap and other components that can use more than 1 column for display in the main body, component area. It only displays in 1 column even though the component is set for column.
I also have this in a JoomBah mod that allows multiple categories in columns, but only will display in one.

Please provide a fix for this, I have several clients with this issue.

Using latest version of Finac... template, Joomla 1.5.23, godaddy DPS, latest updates.

Please help.
